01Introduction

Funkrom ("Funkrom", "we", "us", "our") operates the Famimoo mobile application and website (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have. Famimoo may be available only in selected countries or regions from time to time, and availability may change as the Service expands or as legal, tax, or operational requirements change.

02Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, account details, group membership details, and the events, descriptions, and other content you create in Famimoo. We also collect information automatically, such as device type, operating system, app version, log data, and crash diagnostics. If you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we may receive basic account information from that provider, such as your name, email address, and account identifier.

03Google Calendar integration

If you choose to connect your Google account, we will request access only as needed to sync Famimoo events with your Google Calendar. That access is used only to create, update, and delete Famimoo-related events in your Google Calendar and to maintain that sync. We do not use Google Calendar access to manage unrelated calendar data, and you can revoke access at any time through your Google account settings or by disconnecting the integration in Famimoo.

04How we use information

We use personal information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service; authenticate users; manage groups and shared events; send notifications you have chosen to receive; provide customer support; process subscriptions and account status; maintain integrations such as Google Calendar sync; and comply with legal obligations.

05How we use Google data

Data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide user-facing features that you have chosen to use, such as Google Calendar syncing. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it for unrelated profiling or unrelated product development. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except where necessary to provide the requested feature, comply with the law, or with your consent.

06Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with members of your Famimoo group where needed for the Service to function, with service providers who help us operate the Service such as hosting, infrastructure, authentication, analytics, notifications, and customer support providers, and where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the Service, or others.

07Subscriptions and payments

If you purchase a Pro subscription, payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store, not directly by us. We may receive limited transaction information needed to confirm your subscription status, such as purchase status, subscription product, renewal status, and transaction identifiers, but we do not receive or store your full payment card details.

08Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, support shared group functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain certain information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or legitimate operational reasons. Shared group content may remain visible to other group members where relevant to the group’s ongoing records.

09Children’s privacy

Famimoo is designed for families and may include child-related information entered by a parent, guardian, or other authorised adult. Children under 13 must not create their own independent account unless permitted by applicable law and set up by a parent or guardian where required. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us in a way that is not allowed, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to investigate and remove it where necessary.

10Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your personal information, or to withdraw consent for certain processing. You may also disconnect third-party integrations such as Google Calendar at any time. To make a privacy request, contact us at contact@funkrom.com.

11Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. These measures may include encryption in transit, access controls, secure infrastructure, and monitoring. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using measures appropriate to the nature of the data we hold.

12International transfers

Famimoo is operated from Australia, but we and our service providers may store or process personal information in other countries. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in a manner consistent with applicable privacy laws and with appropriate safeguards where required.

13Third-party services

Famimoo may rely on third-party services such as Apple, Google, cloud hosting providers, authentication providers, analytics providers, and notification providers. Those services may handle personal information under their own terms and privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them where relevant.

14Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, legal requirements, or our data practices. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to notify you through the app, website, or email, and we will update the effective date of this policy.

15Contact us

If you have questions, concerns, or requests about this Privacy Policy or our handling of personal information, please contact us at contact@funkrom.com or through our contact page.
