01Acceptance of terms
Famimoo is a global service that may be available in specific countries or regions at any given time. By downloading, installing, or using the Famimoo mobile application or website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
02Who can use Famimoo
You must be at least 16 years old to create your own Famimoo account, unless a parent or legal guardian has created or authorised the account for you. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
03Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Please contact us promptly at support@funkrom.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
04Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to break the law, infringe someone else’s rights, upload malicious code, harass or abuse other users, interfere with the Service, scrape or misuse data, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user’s account or data.
05Your content
You keep ownership of the events, descriptions, and other content you submit to Famimoo ("Your Content"). You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, display, sync, and process Your Content only as needed to operate, improve, and provide the Service.
06Groups and admins
Famimoo is designed for shared groups such as families or households. If you join a group, that group’s admins may view, manage, edit, or remove events and related content within the group, including content created by other members where needed to manage the group.
07Leaving a group
If you leave a group, or if an admin removes you from a group, content you created in that shared group may remain visible to the remaining group members as part of the shared group history. Leaving a group does not automatically delete shared group events.
08Subscriptions and billing
Famimoo is free for ordinary group or family members. Some features, including acting as a group admin, require a paid Pro subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
09App store payments
Subscriptions are billed and managed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, not directly by Famimoo. Pricing, renewal, cancellation, free trials, refunds, and payment handling are subject to the terms and policies of the relevant app store.
10Google Calendar sync
If you choose to connect your Google account, you authorise Famimoo to create, update, and delete Famimoo‑related events in your Google Calendar for the purpose of syncing your Famimoo data. Famimoo does not use that permission to read, modify, or delete calendar data unrelated to Famimoo events, and you can revoke Google access at any time through your Google account settings or by disconnecting the integration in the Service.
11Availability and accuracy
We aim to keep Famimoo reliable and useful, but we do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free. This includes notifications, syncing, and third‑party integrations such as Google Calendar.
12Account closure
You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time through the app, where that option is available. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, misuse the Service, create risk for other users, or expose us to legal or security issues.
13What happens to data after closure
If your account is deleted, we will delete or de‑identify your personal account data as required by applicable law and our retention practices. However, shared content contributed to a group may remain available to other group members where it forms part of the group’s shared records.
14Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not make promises or warranties about the Service’s availability, reliability, suitability for a particular purpose, or that it will always work perfectly with your device, platform, or third‑party services.
15Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law, where those rights cannot legally be excluded.
16Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss or damage, including loss of data, loss of profits, or loss arising from missed events, failed syncing, or service interruptions. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you have paid us during the 12 months before the claim arose.
17Changes to the Service and terms
We may add, change, suspend, or remove features or parts of the Service, or limit availability to certain countries or regions, at any time, including to improve the Service, adapt to local rules, comply with laws, or stop offering a feature or region. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you through the app, website, or email. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Service or Terms, as applicable.
18Geographic availability
Famimoo may be available only in certain countries or regions at any given time. We decide which countries or regions we offer the Service in, and this may change over time. We may stop offering the Service in particular countries or regions if legal, regulatory, tax, or operational reasons make it impractical to continue. If the Service is no longer available in your country or region, you may no longer be able to create new accounts or subscriptions there, but existing accounts and data are handled under the rest of these Terms.
19Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise. Any legal dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be dealt with in the courts of New South Wales, unless applicable law in your country says otherwise.
